Memorial Handicap Singles
The inaugural Memorial Cup handicap singles saw an entry of 23 players and was played over October 18thto 23rd.
The event produced some great matches ending on Sunday with semi-finals in the morning between Phil Miles and Graham Shoots (Shootsie) and Charles Hayes and Malcolm Barber.
Shootsie and Charles were victorious, and the final was played in the afternoon. Despite Shootsie having a 2 shot handicap difference from Charles and need to reach 23 shots to win while Charles only needed 21, he still came out on top and won the trophy.
Well done to Shootsie (and happy new handicap). And well played to all who took part.
